The ERider 500 - 15mph

It was a hard decision to make, but Tuesday I am driving to Salem to pick up my new bike. It is a 3 wheeler. Has a range of 15 miles per charge.

Just what I need to get to work SUBBING in East Multnomah county.

Wonder what the kids will think?

Another day awaits...

I can not believe the negative response I have been getting to buying an Electric Bike. It is a 3-wheeler so that I can take it in stores or anywhere a wheelchair is allowed to go.

My pride prevents me from using a Wheel Chair.

Who was it who said, "Pride goeth before a fall." I am an adult. I have a driver's license with a Motorcycle endorsement. I will ride my BIKE as if it were a Motorcycle. Bikers/bicyclers are arogant. Switching lanes, crossing the street in the middle... seem to think they don't have to obey traffic laws.

That means that 98% ARE NOT having any problems.

They listen to the Source?

Do U?

The 98% of homeowners who are not having problems probably had good credit scores, enough down to get rid of the MI>>> Mortgage Insurance.

But what happens if someone in the family dies?

Or looses their job?

Or gets hurt or sick and can't work?

For those of you who have read The Secret or heard Earl Nightengale talk about the Strangest Secret .... know what I am talking about.

Sometimes you cannot do anything about what happens to you. However, you can think and make your reality what you want it to be. Ever seen Oprah talk about the secret? Funny thing about the secret, is that NOT ONE PERSON I HAVE HEARD TALK ABOUT REALLY TELLS YOU WHAT IT IS. Do you know what it is?

Foreclosures are only 2% of the Loans granted in the past 2-3 years.

Talk about needing to PLAN AHEAD.

A tree house?

Now if you lived in one of these houses, you might WANT the bank to come and foreclose on you. I have been selling real estate for the past 31 years. I have never had one of the homes that I sold, wind up in foreclosure.

WHY? Because before I sell a home to anyone, I teach them what their options are. We go over their budget to make sure they understand what they are getting into. Back in the 1980's we had Negative Amortization Loans. When interest rates went thru the roof, people lost their homes. No one had thought that the great market of 1976 would create a situation where a person might loose their home due to falling home prices.

I have always told my clients that they should feel free to call me anytime if they have a problem with their home... mortgage or anything.

There are solutions to the problem of foreclosure.

Everyone gets into a financial pickle once in a while. Layoffs. Death. The economy. There are many factors that create financial trouble for people. Bad budgeting. Over spending. But there are solutions.

Many Americans are on the verge of being homeless...

I met this young man on Halloween serving burgers at McDonalds. I wanted to buy a dozen Chocolate Chip cookies. He was new and did not know how to ring up that many cookies. He asked for help from the manager and while the manager was ringing up my order, we talked a bit.

He was a teenager who was having trouble "fitting into society's idea of who he should be." I asked his permission to take his photo because I just love visual ironic images. This was a beautiful black/Africian American teenager. I call this photo "White on Black". Color should not mean anything more than what paint pigments are needed to create it.

Pink is a combination of White and Red. The three primary colors create ALL other colors. RED - Blue - YELLOW create ALL other colors. Orange is Red and Yellow. Black is a combination of ALL COLORS.

So who cares what color the skin of a person is. Black, white, yellow, brown or whatever. I have never really seen a WHITE person. Except once I did see someone who was an Albino. A person who does not have any pigment in their skin. Most BLACK people are not really BLACK. Most are various shades of BROWN. I guess calling oneself BROWN does not sound and MOD as BLACK.

The character of a person does not stop at the pigment in their skin. It goes deeper. Straight to the heart of a person. What color is your heart? What color is the heart of people in China? Mexico? Iceland? Timbuckto?

Choosing to be HOMELESS... YES, it is a choice.

Richard and Cosmo.
I met Richard and Cosmo as I was picking up trash in the gutter out in front of my apartment. He seemed to be a gentleman. He said "let me get that for you."
We began to talk. He told me his story. He was homeless and he earned money going thru garbage dumpsters, recycling metal and picking up cans and bottles.
He said he needed a place to sleep for the night. He had been picked up for vagancy and thrown in jail for trespassing. He explained to me how hard it was to find a place to sleep at night.
I offered to let me sleep in my back porch for a few days until he got his "act together" so he could continue on his journey. He said he was going to Alaska to take a job in a cannery. We talked about "the SECRET" and he began to understand what the secret was. But after offering him a job as my Oregon Representative for Cosmo's BisCut Mix and getting a bunch of excuses about WHY he could not travel around Oregon.... he slammed the phone down and hung up. So, will he call me back.???? I doubt it.

Today, Robby would have been 36 years old...

Robby was only with us for a short 23 months and 6 days. He was Kenny little brother. He was the apple of his mother's eye and the spark in his dad's eye.

For the past 34 years his mom has been researching "Life after Death". The first book that caught her eye at the 7/11 store was "You were born again to be together" by Dick Sutphen. I read it with interest. The stories he told did not make sense to Shari. Shari grew up in a disciples of christ church. She was baptised when she was barely 10 years old. Her values and ideas about life began to change the day she finished the book.

She wrote for a catalog of all the books and tapes available at Valley of the Sun Publishing. She read everything. Then began to read the books referenced in the books she read. Ruth Montgomery was the first authoritive writer she encountered. Ruth had been a reporter for the Washington Post. A very reliable and prestigious paper. Known for it's investigative journalism. She was respected by many past presidents of America. She was a person who would not report/write about something if it were not so.

But channeling information from DEAD PEOPLE?

It was hard to believe.
