Many Americans are on the verge of being homeless...

I met this young man on Halloween serving burgers at McDonalds. I wanted to buy a dozen Chocolate Chip cookies. He was new and did not know how to ring up that many cookies. He asked for help from the manager and while the manager was ringing up my order, we talked a bit.

He was a teenager who was having trouble "fitting into society's idea of who he should be." I asked his permission to take his photo because I just love visual ironic images. This was a beautiful black/Africian American teenager. I call this photo "White on Black". Color should not mean anything more than what paint pigments are needed to create it.

Pink is a combination of White and Red. The three primary colors create ALL other colors. RED - Blue - YELLOW create ALL other colors. Orange is Red and Yellow. Black is a combination of ALL COLORS.

So who cares what color the skin of a person is. Black, white, yellow, brown or whatever. I have never really seen a WHITE person. Except once I did see someone who was an Albino. A person who does not have any pigment in their skin. Most BLACK people are not really BLACK. Most are various shades of BROWN. I guess calling oneself BROWN does not sound and MOD as BLACK.

The character of a person does not stop at the pigment in their skin. It goes deeper. Straight to the heart of a person. What color is your heart? What color is the heart of people in China? Mexico? Iceland? Timbuckto?
